10,000,000 Plastic Containers Saved
With this year’s addition of 10 million plastic containers saved, we’ve reached an incredible milestone: together, we’ve kept 200,000,000 plastic containers out of landfills and oceans since April 2019. That’s not just a number; it’s proof that small choices create big change. Your commitment to Tru Earth reduces plastic at the source, lightens shipments and emissions, and directly supports families who need essential cleaning supplies. This milestone isn’t just about fewer plastic containers; it’s about healthier communities, cleaner waterways, and a future we can all believe in.
9,700,000 Tru Earth Laundry Detergent Sheets Donated
In 2025, through Tru Earth’s TRU Giving Program, we have donated 9.7 million laundry detergent sheets to families in need across the globe, bringing our total to 60.8 million since 2019.
Tru Earth’s Global Giving Program, “Tru Giving by Tru Earth”, is dedicated to addressing hygiene poverty, a critical global issue that often goes unnoticed. While food is commonly donated to food banks, cleaning products like laundry detergent are among the most requested but least provided items. Tru Giving combines environmental sustainability with social responsibility, making this program a natural extension of our mission. “Cleaning that Cares” is more than a slogan; it’s a commitment to creating a better world for all.
This means that every time you make a purchase with Tru Earth you are doing more than just stocking up on your cleaning essentials. For every $25 of Tru Earth products purchased anywhere in the world, Tru Earth will donate laundry detergent for 1 person in need for an entire month. We believe having clean clothes is a human right.
This year, we elevated transparency and accountability within TRU Giving by joining forces with 1% for the Planet. Through this partnership, our initiatives are now independently audited by a trusted third party, giving our community even greater confidence in the real impact your support is making.

Ocean Wise Shoreline Clean Ups
We’ve been a founding partner of Ocean Wise American Shoreline Cleanup program since 2021. This partnership reflects Tru Earth’s commitment to protecting our oceans, reducing plastic pollution, and safeguarding marine life for future generations.

This year, the Ocean Wise Shoreline Cleanup continued to expand its impact across the United States. Through youth leadership, community engagement, and partner collaboration with GirlUp, EarthEcho and Upworthy, they advanced their shared goal of reducing plastic pollution and strengthening data collection to inform policy and plastic reduction efforts.
